Wes Irwin recently traveled as a guest of the Silver State Classic Challenge to Ely, Nevada to participate in the Nevada Open Road Challenge two-way time trial, and the half-mile shootout.  “All in all, it was a fun weekend with all levels of car crazy people.  I got to stretch my car on a closed stretch of highway. Due to a rookie timing mistake, my result was middle of the pack.”  In addition to being a member of San Jose Mustangs Car Club, Wes is also a board member of the NorCal Shelby Club.
